PEP Tank Installation Request

Please complete the following criteria before requesting PEP Tank installation

  1. A cleanout must be installed on the sewer stub-out by the house as a reference point to assure the tank is placed at the proper elevation. The tank will not be installed without this being completed. (Stakes driven in the ground by the stub-out is not acceptable as this is not a permanent mark)
  2. Please have PEP Tank site clear of construction debris.
  3. Trees located within tank site must be removed by contractor.
  4. Building or home should be at the dried in stage but prior to the forming of the driveway or sidewalks.
  5. Questions concerning the location of the tank should be directed to the Utility Office by faxing a plot plan to 386-986-2391. The plan will be marked with which property line the tank should be located and returned faxed to you.

Please allow four weeks from the day of the tank request for the PEP Tank to be installed, and an additional three weeks for the pump assemblies and electrical panel to be installed. Electrical service to operate the pumping and alarm systems should be stubbed from the side wall closest to the tank location no more than five feet from ground level and no less than three feet from ground level.

Please be advised that failure to request a PEP Tank installation prior to the final grading, laying of sod, or installation of driveway or sidewalks will result in the removal of the obstruction of the tank site by the contractor and at the contractor's expense before the tank will be installed.
